Never saw the value of Twitter at first, but it is handy for creating extra links to your blog (and hence helping with Google rankings I believe) as well as generally self promoting the blog in a quick and easy way.
I'm just experimenting really. But I like the idea in principle of it being 'open' like a blog rather than 'closed' like (say) Facebook (on which people's status updates are the only interesting thing anyway). People have a strange idea that putting personal things on Facebook (or even email) is somehow 'private' (or at least not 'public') - but they are only fooling themselves IMHO. Better to treat everything as being potentially 'public' knowledge probably...

Yes it's one of mine - thanks. it was taken at Cafe Regatta in Helsinki. There are always loads of them lurking nearby for crumbs.
