actually it was 3 men; the maintenance guy _ two lock smiths ;)
I hope you did a risk assessment concerning your means of escape before the new door was fitted.

no need yet - old inner door now sans catch = haven't got a new catch yet. outer door as before...
i did however do a rapid risk assessment when konna suggested i jump from the balcony... as you can see from the pictures i waited for a ladder even though i was late for my course as a result!
Finnish lessons: 200€
Ladder: 75€
Paying 2 men to open the door: 150€
Door open: priceless
